Angela was joined by another guest co-presenter, Hazel Addley who you may recall was on the show back in 2015 (listen back to her show from January 2015) and they both chatted with our great guest, Simon Lee of Unlimited Courage. Simon calls himself a Human Experience Coach and helps people discover and experience their own courage, confidence and wisdom. Hear how he does this and why he firmly believes our personal development and fitness industries would do well to merge for the benefit of us all.
Simon also explains more about the content of his forthcoming talk “Forge the Power of your Mind via your BODY” which takes place Wednesday, 25th May, 7-8:30pm at Sevenoaks School, Kent. It’s only a £10 investment which includes refreshments too. To book, visit Simon’s website. Hurry, I think this is going to be a very popular talk. See you there?
Another jam packed show, thanks to our guest, Trish Stretton of People face2face Ltd who shared her personal journey to better health. Angela and her guest co-presenter, Chris Pollard, chatted with Trish about her path to a healthier and better quality of life. We also learnt how Trish’s road was paved with a few rocks (health challenges) along the way and how she found ways to cope with them. Finally we touched briefly on her Jive Dancing passion (great exercise) as well as her love of her Thermomix and how she has now added “Independent Thermomix Advisor” to her portfolio of skills. A real life “Wonder Woman” and a true inspiration to many. Big thanks to our show sponsors too, namely:
Barry and Jan Lewis of JW Training Ltd joined us today to highlight the importance of having an Emotional First Aid Kit in organisations. We had a little challenge part way through the show, a power cut, which was rather exciting. It didn’t deter us and we didn’t lose too much time to find out how Barry and Jan work with a variety of organisations and voluntary sectors and schools to deliver their accredited programmes. They also explained the Emotional Healthscale as well as what our default emotion tends to be in times of stress.
The very inspirational Katherine Horn of Panache Wigs joined us in the studio today to tell us why she set up her business and the bespoke service she now offers people in the privacy of their own homes across Kent and East Sussex. Whether your wig is needed because of medication, chemotherapy, alopecia, thinning hair, or you seek an alternative to your own hair for attending that special social occasion, Katherine has access to an extensive product range of synthetic and real hair wigs.
The lovely Liz Almond of Insightful Minds joined us in the studio clutching her new book “Are You Worth it? A Spiritual guide to managing your money mindset“. She shared her story as to why she is now a healer’s healer and how she herself has come through many of life’s struggles both financially, mentally and physically. In her book, she shares her wealth of knowledge to show the reader how they can change their life, see the richness in it and have a fulfilled and happy life without worrying what is in their bank account.
